Love Steve who usually works the counter. He is always very friendly and helpful. This place is one of our "go to's". The food is always yummy and prepared like we ask.
I used to live in the Portage area and this was my favorite restaurant. My husband and I live about an hour away now and we have been calling and checking local places for curb side pickup for more than two weeks. We live between two large cities so there are many asian restaurants to choose from; however, none are answering their phones and once we drove by one, when we were nearby after another errand took us to town, Closed : ( So we decided to go to Great Wall Express on Oakland in Portage! And they did not disappoint! Steve is still working the front counter taking orders (great job Steve) and the food, as expected, is still my favorite. Our bill was just over 23, the same as we would have spent locally. Great job, Great Wall, and thank you for staying open during the lock down of 2020.
I get this at least once a month for our lazy dinner days. The food is always hot, yummy, and the order is always correct. Cant go wrong with some chinese food.
Good food, good people. Definitely more take out type of place. Cashier Steve works 6 out of 7 days a week and always make sure it is done right. This is really important to me because I have some food allergies and I appreciate the effort of him and the team that cooks the food!
Only the second time at this location and only got egg rolls and spring rolls, both delicious and hot don't know how soon before I get back to this location but I'm a great wall over any other places in town
We ordered delivery because my boyfriend and I were too sick to make anything ourselves. Food was amazing and arrived a half an hour sooner than the estimated delivery time. Almost didn't order from them after reading all the negative reviews, but glad we did because our experience was no where near what others had described. It was amazing! We ordered the 2 for 20 and it was so much food for the price and the delivery fee was more than reasonable. Food and service was so good I wish I would've tipped the driver more than 20%. Will definitely be ordering from them again.
Our favorite takeout Chinese! The storefront is small and there's not much seating, but the good is great, portions are large and the price is good.
Brought home to South Haven still hot and fresh and delicious when I arrived. Super tasty Beef pao tender and delicious and the cashew shrimp awesome. Vegetables were fresh and the beef tender. Stephen was very pleasant and kind Great food and portions ...
